DUBDOGZ is a Brazilian DJ duo consisting of Marcos and Lucas Schmidt. They first gained attention in 2016 with their remix of the song "Ain't Nobody (Loves Me Better)" by Felix Jaehn featuring Jasmine Thompson, which quickly went viral and garnered millions of views on YouTube. Born and raised in Brazil, the brothers were always passionate about music and began playing guitar and drums in their teenage years. They started their music career by playing at local bars and clubs in their hometown of Campo Bom. However, it wasn't until they discovered electronic dance music that they found their true calling.
In 2014, they created the DUBDOGZ project, which blends various genres of electronic dance music with Brazilian rhythms and melodies. Their unique style quickly caught the attention of music lovers and industry professionals alike. They released their debut single "Stayin Cool" in 2015, which was followed by numerous successful tracks such as "Sunset in Paradise," "World Hold On," and "Techno Prank."
Their success continued to grow with their remixes of popular songs such as "The Man" by Aloe Blacc and "One Kiss" by Calvin Harris and Dua Lipa. They also collaborated with Brazilian singer IZA on the hit single "Favela" which received a gold certification in Brazil. DUBDOGZ have performed at major festivals and clubs around the world, including Tomorrowland, Lollapalooza, and Ministry of Sound. They have also received support from some of the biggest names in the industry, including Tiësto, David Guetta, and Oliver Heldens.
In 2020, they released their debut album "Double Trouble," which features collaborations with a range of artists such as Cat Dealers, Bhaskar, and The Fish House. The album showcases their versatility and ability to create a diverse range of electronic dance music tracks.
