Aerosmith is a rock band, which was formed in 1970 in Boston, Massachusetts. The current lineup includes Steven Tyler, Joe Perry, Tom Hamilton, Joey Kramer, and Brad Whitford. The band won numerous awards, including 10 MTV Video Music Awards, 4 Grammies, and 4 Billboard Music Awards. Aerosmith is mostly famous for such hits as “Crying”, “Amazing”, and “I Don’t Want to Miss a Thing”.
The fans often call this American band “The Bad Boys From Boston”, even though none of the original members were born there. Steven Tyler, Joe Perry, and Tim Hamilton first met in New Hampshire, where Tom was from, in the late 1960’s. Tyler came from New York while Joe arrived from Massachusetts. In 1970, the three musicians decided to form a band and to start working in Boston. They asked Brad Whitford and Joey Kramer to join them.
In 1983, Aerosmith recorded their first album Aerosmith. It reached the 21st spot on Billboard 200 and 58th spot on Canadian Albums Chart. Over the years, this album sold over 2 million copies in the US only and went platinum in USA and Canada.
