Black Eyed Peas is an American band established in 1998. They are mostly famous for their songs “Where Is The Love”, “Shut up!”, “Boom Boom Pow’, and “The Time (Dirt Bit)”. They were nominated for 116 music awards and won 87 of them.
The band changed lineups several times and released two albums Behind the Front (1998) and bridging the gap (2000), which didn’t gain much popularity.
In 2003, the band together with Justin Timberlake released their first hit “Where is The Love”. While it reached the 8th spot on Billboard Hot 100, it topped most of the European charts, including UK Singles Chart. The same year, the band released their second hit “Shut up!” which became just as popular as the first one. Both songs went platinum. The album Elephunk released the same year was a great success as well and sold over 8.5 million copies worldwide. The band was nominated for Grammy, Brit Awards and received many other nominations. Another song from the album “Hey Mama” brought the band even more fame.
