CamelPhat is a popular house and deep house music group.
Michael Pascual (Make Di Skala), was born on April 5, 1981 in Liverpool in England. While still at school, his main interest was music. He played in youth groups. In the mid-90s, the young man entered a music college and began working part-time in a club as a DJ. After graduating from college, he opens his recording studio, BSD Studios. His first electronic compositions appear. He takes on the pseudonym Re-Con. During this busy period, he also starts producing the dance group Rezonance Q. The producing experience is quite successful, but he continues to write tracks under various pseudonyms.
In 2003, the "Pretty Green Eyes" mix took second place in the world charts. After that, Mike accepts an offer to work as a DJ in the famous club "Society". Here comes an important moment in his life, it is here that he meets Dave Whelan, with whom he later creates "CamelPhat".
Dave Whelan, like Mike, dreamed of becoming a DJ from childhood, he liked electronic music. And he succeeded. The young man created compositions in the techno and house style, took a direct part in concerts and parties as a musician. Upon meeting, Mike and Dave found many common interests in music. They start recording music together in different studios. Duo Whelan & Di Scala is formed. This duet in 2008 turns into a joint project "CamelPhat". At first, Mike did not attach much importance to CamelPhat, he just saw it as an opportunity for new projects. For him in the first place was the duet "Whelan & Di Scala". But in the end it turned out a little differently.
In 2010, Mike and Dave open their Mansion Club in Liverpool. They work there as DJs, and sometimes act as a duo "CamelPhat". Their old dream of opening a club has come true, where their friends and fans of electronic music would come. A lot of people gathered for the very first parties. Mike and Dave didn't even expect such a success.
Today it is a VIP club. It organizes private parties and concerts for a wide audience in love with electronic music. At the club's first anniversary concert, Mike and Dave played their greatest and greatest hits.
The musicians are open to recording with young and talented youth. They have a very busy work schedule. But despite this, Dave has a hobby - he is passionate about sports and football. Dave himself regularly attends training. He also collects sports shoes.
With regards to alcohol, both of them hardly drink, they rarely can afford a glass of white wine. In food, they are as solidary as in music. They have a common predilection for pizza. For many years now they have been ordering it in the same institution. Musicians rarely communicate with journalists, avoid giving interviews and fundamentally do not allow them to interfere with their personal life.
In 2017, the band gained immense popularity thanks to the release of the song "Cola" together with the English artist Elderbrook. She shocked connoisseurs of this kind of music. The song immediately took the top lines in the world's charts. The musicians did not even expect such a dizzying success and popularity of this composition. It took about 4 months to work on it.
It was no less surprising for the musicians that the song received the 1st place in the dance music chat "Bilboard Dance Club Songs" in America. She was nominated for a Grammy and the duo CamelPhat was ranked # 1 Music Artist in England for 2017.

The musicians created a huge number of dance tracks for such celebrities like Spinnin Deep, Ultra Music and Axtonne. The duo is supported by many musicians and labels like Sasha, Nerve, Yousef, Annie Mac etc.
In 2015 they produced lots of singles featuring the beautiful vocals of AME. They also released a number of hot remixes for Clean Bandit, 4tune500, Robosonic.
