Cher Lloyd was born on July 28, 1993, in England. She is a singer, a songwriter, and an actress. Lloyd is mostly famous for her songs “Swagger Jagger” and “Want Ur Love”.
The fame came to Lloyd after she came in fourth on a famous show The X Factor (2010). She tried to get into the show at least twice before getting the chance to flaunt her talents. However, Lloyd didn’t give up and kept trying. After the show was over, Lloyd signed a contract with Syco Music.
In 2011, she released her debut single “Swagger Jagger”. The song topped the UK Singles Chart. It went up to the 2nd spot of the Ireland Singles Chart and reached the 5th spot of the Japan Hot 100. Several months later, Cher released her second single “With Ur Love”. The song sold over 70,000 copies in the first week. It reached the 4th spot of the UK singles chart and 5th spot on the Ireland Singles Chart. About a month later, Lloyd released her debut album Sticks and Stones, which reached the 4th spot on the UK Albums Chart and received two gold certifications. In November 2011, Lloyd went on her debut UK tour.
