Dillon Francis — American DJ, producer, and one of the moombahton founders
Dillon Hart Francis was born on 5 October 1987 in Los Angeles.
In 2010, he met DJ and producer Diplo. Together they recorded a song “Que Que”, which featured a Latin singer Maluca. Later Dillon recorded “Masta Blasta” and stylized it to fit the moombahton style, which made the artist popular. The same year he signed a deal with Play Me Records and released his debut EP, Swashbuckler.
In 2011, Dillon recorded three EPs, Westside!, Ultra (with Cory Enemy), and Bossa Rocka. Together with Diplo, Francis released EP Que Que (Remixes).
In 2012, the artist recorded one more EP, Something, Something, Awesome, which became the first moombahton album to top Beatport Releases. The rest of the year Francis spent touring North America.
The year 2013, Dillon began by continuing to tour USA and Canada. He also announced the upcoming release of his debut LP. Francis recorded the single, "Without You" together with Totally Enormous Extinct Dinosaurs. The song reached the 37th spot on Billboard Dance/Electronic Songs.
