Jessica Simpson was born on July 10, 1980, in Texas. She is a singer, a songwriter and an actress mostly famous for her hits “I Wanna Love Your Forever”, “These Boots Are Made for Walkin’”, and “Irresistible”.
Jessica Simpson became interested in music at a very young age. When she was a teenager, she performed with Christian Youth Conference choir, Kirk Franklin, and CeCe Winans. Simpson even sold a few CDs with her performances. Due to that, she was noticed by Columbia Records and signed a contract with the label in 1996.
In 1999, Simpson released her first studio album Sweet Kisses. The single from that album “I Wanna Love You Forever” became a great hit and the most successful song by Simpson so far. The album reached the 25th spot on Billboard 200 and sold 4 million copies worldwide. The single “I Wanna Love You Forever” reached the 3rd spot on Billboard Hot 100 and the 7th spot on UK Singles Chart.
In 2001, Jessica recorded her second LP Irresistible. The album was more successful and reached the 6th spot on Billboard 200. However, it rated worse on the other charts. The LP sold 2 million copies worldwide.
