Mabel uploaded her song on the SoundCloud page and earned the attention of many fans. Music critics said that it was an excellent start for a young vocalist. Singers rarely manage to acquire that many fans so fast. Critics called Mabel a talented artist, who is likely to become famous very soon. And they were right.
Many fans believe that Mabel inherited her talent from her parents. The singer’s father worked with such celebrities as Portishead, Massive Attack, All Saints, and Sugababes. Her mother was a famous singer, whose songs were often called the classics of the Swedish music industry.
Mabel’s next single was "Post Know Me Better". It was followed by "My Boy My Town”. The latter managed to make it into the Belgian chart, reaching the 145th spot.

In August 2019, Mabel is expecting to release her debut LP, High Expectations. It will come up with the assistance of Polydor Records.
