Madison Beer – pop singer from the USA

Madison Beer was born in Jericho, New York on 5 March 1999. Madison’s father owns a construction company while her mom is an interior designer. Beer’s parents always supported her hobbies. They helped the young woman pursue a career in music.

When she was just 13 years old, Madison created a YouTube account. She began uploading covers for other artists’ songs there. Every time Beer created a cover, she added something special to it. The young woman wanted to record new music but wasn’t ready to present anything original just yet.

The popularity came to Madison unexpectedly. It all started with uploading one more cover. It was her version of Etta James’ “At Last”. Two months later, Justin Bieber viewed the video. He liked the singer’s work and published a link to her YouTube channel on his Twitter. Justin added a comment that he considered the 13-year-old’s skills exceptional.

That Twitter post became a key to Madison Beer’s success. After seeing it, Bieber’s fans started clicking the link and signing up for the aspiring singer’s YouTube channel. After some time, Bieber decided to meet the singer. He helped Madison sign a contract with Island Records and jump-started her career.

Soon after the contract was signed, Madison worked with Monster High owners to record a theme song "We Are Monster High". At the beginning of 2013, a British singer Cody Simpson decided to re-record his song “Valentine’ together with Madison Beer. Later, the song was played on Disney radio. However, the official version was never released as a single.

In September 2013, Madison recorded her debut single “Melodies”. A music video for it came out shortly. She invited celebrities to help her work on the song, among them was a famous Norwegian singer Ina Wroldsen. The single turned out successful but didn’t manage to make it into top charts. However, it helped the young artist attract numerous fans. At that time, many organizers started trying to book Madison Beer for private events.

The second single released by the singer was “Unbreakable”. It was recorded with the assistance of different artists in June 2014. The producer was Andrew Goldstein. In February 2015, Madison announced her plans to collaborate with DJ Mako. They worked on the single called "I Won't Let You Walk Away". Beer filmed music videos for "Dead" and "Say It to My Face". The single "Home with You" climbed to the 21st position of Billboard Mainstream Top 40. As a result, Madison became the only solo singer to get that high on the charts without a contract with a large label.

In August 2018, the artist performed on Lollapalooza in Chicago. At about the same time, Riot Games, a company that manufactures video games, ordered a single “Pro/Stars” for a virtual k-pop group, K/DA. Madison Beer, Jaira Burns, and members of a Korean group (G)I-DLE recorded the requested song. The track topped World Digital Songs chart.
