Michelle Branch was born on July 2, 1983 in Arizona, USA. She is a singer, a songwriter, and an actress. Michelle holds several music awards including a Grammy. She is mostly famous for such hits as “Everywhere”, “All You Wanted”, and “ Are You Happy Now?”.
Michelle was interested in music ever since she was a child. She was greatly influenced by a concert of New Kids On the Block, which she attended at an early age. The girl wanted to become a ballerina but her parents didn’t support the idea, and she started singing in a choir.
Michelle started writing songs when she was in high school. She made a decision to make a demo record and send it to a recording studio. After only two months, she received her first offer.
Branch’s first step to fame was performing on a tour, which was arranged in support of the Hanson band. Michelle signed a contract with producer John Shanks, who worked with such celebrities as Melissa Etheridge and Sheryl Crow. She then signed a deal with Maverick Records.
