Nick Jonas was born in 1992 in Dallas. He has three brothers, Joe, Kevin, and Frankie. The boy’s talent became obvious when he was just six years old. His mom was getting a haircut, and a bored kid decided to sing for the hairdresser. Jonas’ parents supported his hobby, and a year later, he appeared on Broadway in “Christmas Carol”.
In 2002, Nick landed the role of Chip in a Broadway musical Beauty And The Beast. At the same time, the young singer recorded his first song "Joy to the World (A Christmas Prayer)". In November 2003, the song made it to the radio stations and caught the attention of Columbia Records representatives. In 2004, the label helped Nick record his first album Nicholas Jonas, which featured songs recorded by Nick and his older brothers.
In 2005, Nick, Kevin, and Joe formed their own band Jonas Brothers and began working on a debut album. In December 2005, they released a single “Mandy”, the music video for which reached the 4th spot on MTV. In August 2006, the artists presented the LP It's About Time, which sold 50,000 copies.
Since Columbia Records didn’t want to continue working with the group, Jonas Brothers signed a contract with Hollywood Records in 2007. While giving many concerts, the band was working on its second LP, Jonas Brothers. It turned out to be more popular than the predecessor. The album reached the 5th spot of Billboard 200 and came in 9th on the UK Albums Chart. More than 2 million copies were sold. At that time, the three brothers were working on numerous TV projects, acquiring more and more fans.
