A band called Panic! At the disco appeared in 2004 in America. Originally the musicians called their brand "Pet Salamander" and at that time they made covers of the tracks of Blink-182. Then they changed their name and they were "Summer League". Finally, the participants of the band decided to choose "Panic! At the disco" due to the lyrics "Panic" by "Name Taken".
Panic! At the disco is a rock-band which also plays alternative rock and punk-rock. At first Panic! signed to Decaydance. An owner of the label is a bass player of FallOutBoys.
Panic! At the disco made their debut with an album was put on the market in 2005 and it is known as "A fever you can't sweat out". The album garnered the support of well-known sites MySpace and PureVolume. By the beginning of 2006 "A fever you can't sweat out" got a platinum status: more than 1 million copies were sold. Moreover, it hit Number 13 on prestigious Billboard 200.
In 2006 Panic! At the disco launched their debut clip. It was "I write Sins not Tragedies"; and it won "The video of the year" by MTV Music Awards. The song got lots of fans from Europe and Asia. The one after called "But its better if you do" also gained popularity.
At that time Panic! At the disco went on their European tour for the first time. It was extremely successful - the halls were sold out in the nick of time.
