Sabrina Carpenter – American singer, actress, and songwriter
Sabrina Carpenter was born on 11 May 1999 in Lehigh Valley, Pennsylvania. Carpenter liked singing since childhood and dreamed about becoming famous. As a child, she was inspired by Christina Aguilera and Adele. Later, Sabrina often talked about them in her interviews. Carpenter has three older sisters, Sarah, Shannon, and Cayla. Her aunt is an actress Nancy Cartwright, who lent her voice to Bart Simpson in The Simpsons.
Sabrina began her career when she was just 12 years old. She was invited to Miley Cyrus’ music project “The Next Miley Cyrus Project”. Sabrina came in third, which was a big success for a young singer.
Later, she tried her acting skills as a guest star on NBC’s Law & Order: Special Victims Unit. Carpenter successfully portrayed a rape victim. Later, she participated in Gold Mango Audience Festival. The young artist got high scores for her original interpretation of Etta James’ “Something’s Got A Hold On Me”.
In 2012, Sabrina landed the role of Brittney in Noobz. In 2013, she appeared as a young Merrin in the horror movie, Horns. A little later, Carpenter portrayed young Chloe in The Goodwin Games. She also worked on the role of Harper in the TV film, The Unprofessional on Disney Channel.
