He took his cues from turntablism and associated culture in the late 80s and 90s. His infatuation with those classic 4/4 club sounds is something that can be experienced in his music today. He topped Resident Advisor’s Top 100 Most Charted Artists of 2013, an achievement that reflects his prolific approach to the music he creates. His focus and aspirations don’t lie with arena shows or to break through into the mainstream of electronic music. He’s happy with staying true to the scene and the surroundings he love.
