Singer and songwriter Tove Lo was born on 29 October 1987 in Stockholm. Her full name is Ebba Tove Elsa Nilsson. Tove is famous for her rebellious nature. The singer became famous in 2013 after the release of the single “Habits”. Back then, hip-hop producer Hippie Sabotage released a remix of the song called “Stay High”.
When Lo was still in school, she started writing small stories and poems. She also attended music school. The singer invented the pseudonym Tove Lo by switching letters in the words Love To.
When Ebba was in high school, she decided to start writing lyrics and music. Later, she became a songwriter for such celebrities as Cher Lloyd, Girls Aloud, and Icona Pop. However, Lo always wanted to perform on the stage just as her idols, Katy Perry and Mikky Ekko did.
Tove’s rebellious nature shined through when she turned 13. Back then, her family lived in a large two-story house in Stockholm. The walls in her room were painted yellow, which drove the girl crazy. The teenager repainted them black - the color which probably reflected her mood at the time.
