Wilkinson – British producer and DJ

Mark Wilkinson, mostly known to his fans as simply Wilkinson, was born on 19 April 1989 in London. Not much is currently known about the artist’s childhood. He doesn’t like to talk about his private life while his songs don’t reveal much about the DJ.

Wilkinson’s career took off in 2010 with the release of the single "Moonwalker / Samurai” recorded with the assistance of RAM Records label. The track premiered in Andy C’s album, Nightlife 5.

Mark tried hard to keep the audience’s attention. Half a year later, he released a non-album single, "Every Time / Overdose”, RAM Records invited Marcus Gregg as a vocalist for the song. The single became the first one in Mark’s career for which he filmed a music video. Six months later, Wilkinson released "Tonight / Pistol Whip". It was a step toward promoting his studio albums on iTunes.

In 2012, the artist officially presented another non-album single, "Automatic / Hands Up!", which brought him mixed reviews. However, it helped Wilkinson find support from such artists as Annie Mac and MistaJam.

The LP was recorded with the assistance of Detour City, Talay Riley, Tom Cane, Iman, and others.

In October 2014, the artist went on a long tour of the UK. He had the support of such artists as Etherwood, I See MONSTAS, and Toyboy & Robin. It was a promotional single for his next album.

In 2015, Wilkinson collaborated with many other artists. Together with TC, he recorded “Hit The Floor”. With Thabo, he works on “Hopelessly Coping”. The latter reached the 11th spot of the UK Dance Singles chart, came in 49th on the UK Singles Chart, and appeared on the 60th position of the Scottish Singles Chart.

The second LP officially came out in April 2017 with the assistance of RAM Records. It topped the UK Dance Albums Chart and settled on the 43rd position of the UK Albums Chart. The same year, the artist recorded “Rush” with Dimension. In 2018, he worked on “Take It Up” with Sub Focus.
