X Ambassadors – American rock group
X Ambassadors is an American rock group. The lineup includes Sam Harris, Casey Harris, and Adam Levin. Another band member, a guitar player Noah Feldshuh, worked with X Ambassadors until 2015. Then he decided to take a break to deal with personal problems and hasn’t returned since. Sam Harris plays the sax, guitar, and bass guitar. His brother Casey plays the keyboards and the piano. The Harris brothers were friends with Feldshuh since childhood. They met Adam Levin in 2006.
The group was formed in 2009. At that time, the musicians worked as opening acts as part of a tour of a popular singer Lights. During the tour, they were working on the songs for the first EP, Ambassadors EP.
Three years later, the group released its first studio LP, Litost. It wasn’t commercially successful, and only a limited audience noticed it. The album failed to make it into the charts. However, the independent LP allowed the band to see where they stand, and understand what they need to work on.
In 2012, X Ambassadors signed their first contract with SONGS Music Publishing label. However, the contract didn’t help them become successful immediately.
