Mark Ruffalo

Mark Ruffalo is an American actor, producer, and activist, born on November 22, 1967, in Kenosha, Wisconsin. Raised in a working-class family, he developed an interest in acting during his teenage years and later studied at the Stella Adler Conservatory in Los Angeles. Ruffalo spent years working in theater and struggling to find steady acting roles before breaking through with his critically acclaimed performance in *You Can Count on Me* (2000).

Known for his ability to portray complex, emotionally vulnerable characters, Ruffalo went on to star in films like *Eternal Sunshine of the Spotless Mind* (2004), *13 Going on 30* (2004), and *Zodiac* (2007).
