Kevin Durant is a professional basketball player widely regarded as one of the most versatile and prolific scorers in NBA history. Born on September 29, 1988, in Washington, D.C., Durant grew up in a single-parent household, raised by his mother, Wanda, who played a pivotal role in his life and career.
