Shaquille Rashaun O’Neal, born on March 6, 1972, in Newark, New Jersey, is one of the most dominant and charismatic figures in basketball history. Standing 7'1" and weighing over 300 pounds, O’Neal combined size, strength, and agility to revolutionize the center position in the NBA.
After a stellar college career at LSU, Shaq was selected as the first overall pick in the 1992 NBA Draft by the Orlando Magic.
