Novak Djokovic

Novak Djokovic, born May 22, 1987, in Belgrade, Serbia, is one of the greatest tennis players of all time. Known for his incredible athleticism, mental toughness, and all-court versatility, Djokovic has redefined the sport with his record-breaking achievements. As of 2023, he holds 24 Grand Slam singles titles, the most in men’s tennis history, and has spent a record number of weeks as the world No. 1 in the ATP rankings.

Djokovic turned professional in 2003 and won his first Grand Slam title at the 2008 Australian Open. His breakthrough dominance came in 2011 when he captured three Grand Slam titles and finished the year as world No. 1. Djokovic is the only male player to have achieved a Double Career Grand Slam—winning each of the four major tournaments at least twice—and has also completed a non-calendar-year Grand Slam, holding all four titles simultaneously in 2015–2016.

Renowned for his return game, incredible flexibility, and unmatched consistency, Djokovic’s rivalries with Roger Federer and Rafael Nadal have defined tennis's modern era. His matches, particularly against these two legends, are celebrated as some of the sport’s most memorable.
