  • Lost Frequencies’ full name is Felix De Laet. He was born on 30 November 1993 in Brussels, Belgium. The artist was interested in music since childhood. When he turned 21, Felix realized that a hobby has all the chances of turning into a profession. The artist debuted in 2014 with a song “Are You With Me”. Even though it was just a remix of a country singers’ Easton Corbin’s track recorded in 2012, Felix showed impressive talent in giving the song a new life. He came up with numerous remix versions, including Kungs Remix, Funk D Remix, Harold van Lennep Piano Edit, DIMARO Remix, Dash Berlin Remix, Armada Music, Calvo Remix, Gestort Aber Geil Remix, and Tom Budin Remix. The remix did well on the charts. It reached the 4th spot of US Hot Country Songs Chart and came in 41st on Country Airplay. The song became a hit on the dancefloors in the USA, Australia Belgium, Germany, France, Austria, Norway, Switzerland, and the UK. The musician quickly made a name for himself. Many clubs tried to book Lost Frequencies for different events. The same year, the artist released his debut EP, Feelings. It was produced with the assistance of Ground Digital. Even though the EP didn’t become too successful, it helped the musician to improve his reputation in the music business.

In 2015, Felix made his new fans happy with a track recorded with Janieck Devy. Their single "Reality" topped numerous European charts. On Hot Dance/Electronic Songs, the joint project of the Belgian DJ and a Danish singer reached the 37th spot. It also came in 29th on the UK Singles Chart. The track sold numerous copies in Germany, Italy, and Sweden. In October 2016, Lost Frequencies presented the long-awaited LP, which he called Less Is More. The album made it to the list of the best LPs of the year made by The Independent Music Companies Association. It was a huge success for the artist.

  • The LP came in third on the Belgian chart and became popular in other European countries. The singer invited such celebrities as Janieck Devy, Nick Schilder, Sandro Cavazza, and Joakim Wilow to help him record the LP. The most popular songs featured in the album were "Beautiful Life", "What Is Love 2016", and the already successful "Are You with Me" and "Reality". The first single topped the Belgian charts. It also reached top spots in Austria, Germany, France, the Netherlands, and Spain. It became so popular that all of Europe talked about it for weeks. The single earned a wide variety of platinum certifications. In Germany, it got a diamond status, which is a rarity in the music business.

The single “Are You With Me” brought the DJ a prize at Echo Awards for Dance International and Hit of the Year. “Reality” earned a variety of platinum and gold statuses in Europe. Songs from Less Is More helped the artist become an international celebrity. In 2017, Lost Frequencies released three tracks, "All or Nothing" (recorded with Axel Ehnström), "Here with You" (with Netsky), and "Crazy" (with Zonderling). The first one reached the 9th spot of the national Belgian Chart. The other two came in 2nd and 1st accordingly. The same year, the artist was nominated for WDM Radio Awards as Best New Talent.
