Tale of Us

Tale of Us is an Italian DJ and producing duo comprised of Carmine Conte and Matteo Milleri. The two met in Milan during their teenage years and discovered their passion for music together. They started out playing small gigs in local nightclubs before being discovered by two of the biggest names in electronic music: Richie Hawtin and Marco Carola.

In 2010, Tale of Us signed their first record deal with Hawtin's label, Minus. Their debut EP, "Dark Song," was released the same year and was met with critical acclaim. The duo quickly gained a reputation for their dark, moody, and sophisticated sound that blended elements of house, techno, and ambient music. Over the years, Tale of Us have become known for their mesmerizing live performances, which often feature intricate visuals and lighting effects. They have played at some of the biggest festivals and venues around the world, including Coachella, Tomorrowland, and Berghain.

In 2017, Tale of Us launched their own label, Afterlife, which has quickly become one of the most respected imprints in the electronic music scene. The label has released music from a variety of talented artists, including Recondite, Adriatique, and Stephan Bodzin. Tale of Us's discography includes several critically acclaimed releases, such as their remix of Adriatique's "Space Knights" and their original tracks "Obscure Promises" and "Monument." They have also collaborated with other notable artists, such as Vaal and Mind Against.

Throughout their career, Tale of Us have remained committed to pushing the boundaries of electronic music and creating immersive experiences for their audiences. They are widely regarded as one of the most innovative and exciting acts in the industry today.
