Tones And I is an Australian singer-songwriter who shot to fame in 2019 after the release of her breakthrough hit, "Dance Monkey." Born as Toni Watson in 2000, she grew up in Mornington Peninsula, Victoria.

Tones And I's love for music started at a young age. She learned to play the keyboard and sang in her school choir. After graduating from high school, Watson decided to pursue a career in music.
