  • Pusha T was born on 13 May 1977. His real name is Terrance LeVarr Thornton. The rapper spent part of his childhood in Bronx, New York. Then his family moved to Virginia Beach. In 1992, Terrance and his younger brother Gene Elliott (pseudonym No Malice) formed a duo Clipse. A famous rapper Pharrell Williams helped the young artists signed a contract with Elektra Records, with the support of which they later released the debut LP, Exclusive Audio Footage. Terrance also found time to work with other artists. He collaborated with Kelis to create a single “Good Stuff”. Later, he recorded "Run Away (I Wanna Be with U)" with the singer Nivea.

    In 2014, the two brothers formed their own label, Re-Up Records. They also created a new group, Re-Up Gang. Besides Pusha T and No Malice, the band’s lineup featured Sandman and Ab-Liva. Then the duo recorded two more albums and decided to split. Each of the talented brothers started working on solo projects.Pusha T signed a contract with GOOD Music and worked with other artists from the label. One of the songs he helped record was “Runaway” for Kanye West’s LP, West My Beautiful Dark Twisted. At MTV Video Music Awards, Kanye presented a music video for the song.

    In 2010, Pusha signed a management contract with NUE Agency. In 2011, the singer presented a mixtape, Fear of God. It featured several tracks and freestyle. A few months later, Pusha signed a contract with Def Jam Recordings and announced his first EP, Fear of God II: Let Us Pray.

    The debut single for the EP called "Trouble on My Mind" accidentally became available to the artist’s fans before the official release. The second single “Amen” was released a bit later. Eventually, the album appeared in November 2011 and reached the 66th spot of Billboard 200. After that, many clubs tried hard to book Pusha T for private events. In 2011, the artist landed a small role in the MTV TV series, How to Make it in America. After that, the singer started working on the next project, which was a debut LP. The producer was Kanye West. At that time, Pusha announced that after the debut album’s release, he plans to reunite with his brother to release a new album as Clipse.

  • At the end of 2011, the artist helped Pixie Lot release "What Do You Take Me For?" for her second LP, Young Foolish Happy. The song became a big hit in the UK and topped the national chart. In 2012, GOOD Music announced plans for the release of a compilation album called Cruel Summer. The leading track came out in April. “Mercy” was recorded by Pusha T, Kanye West, and other rappers, who worked for the label.

    In May 2012, Pusha T presented a new single "Exodus 23:1", which was a dissing track addressed to Lil Wayne and Drake. As a reply, Lil Wayne recorded "Goulish". After some time, Pusha T helped record the third single "New God Flow" for the album Cruel Summer. In the fall of 2012, the artist released the debut single “Pain” for his upcoming LP. Before the album, which got the name Wrath of Caine, came out, the rapper recorded a mixtape, Wrath of Caine. In the winter, Pusha recorded "Blocka". The single was produced by Popcaan and Travis Scott.

    Initially, the release of the debut LP was planned for the summer of 2013, but it was delayed until October. In the first week of sales, the album sold 74,000 copies. Its producers were The Neptunes, Kanye West, The-Dream, Don Cannon, and other celebrities. Right after the release, the rapper began working on the next LP, King Push. The album’s release was planned for the spring of 2015. At about the same time, the singer presented an EP, King Push – Darkest Before Dawn: The Prelude. It earned positive reviews from fans and critics. After the release, the singer presented a non-album single, "Drug Dealers Anonymous", recorded with Jay Z.

    In 2017, Pusha T worked with Linkin Park to create "Good Goodbye". The single was featured on the band’s seventh album. In 2018, the artist presented his third LP, Daytona. It earned positive reviews from the critics and sold over 500,000 copies in the USA. In 2019, Pusha recorded two singles “Sociopath” and “Coming Home”. They are expected to appear in his next album.
