Joe Walsh was born on November 20, 1947, in Kansas. He is a singer, songwriter, composer, and producer. Throughout his career, Walsh worked with several bands. He is mostly famous for such hits as “Life’s Been Good”, “A Life of Illusion”, and “Space Age Whiz Kids”. In 1976, Josh joined Eagles after the sudden leave of Bernie Leadon. By that time, he was already known for his work with James Gun. One of his most famous songs with Eagles was “In the City”. Meanwhile, one of his most successful music videos with that band was “Pretty Maids All In A Row”. John Walsh is a talented musician but he loves scandals. This character trait was very useful throughout Walsh’s career. He always knew how to promote himself and the bands he worked with. The way he dressed and carried himself was always a hit.
Joe Walsh never had any insecurities. He even ran for the president of the United States. One of his promises was “free gas for everyone”. While performing with Eagles and running for the president, Walsh managed to work on his solo career. Meanwhile, he recorded six albums with Ringo Starr and 2 albums with Barnstorm. Walsh’s solo career took off in 1972. His debut album The Smoker You Drink The Player You Get was released in 1973. It reached the 6th spot on Billboard 200 and received a platinum certification in the United States. Walsh released 11 studio albums. Almost all of them managed to make it into Billboard 200. The latest album to date All Night Long: Live in Dallas (2014) didn’t enter any charts. Joe Walsh was the only member of Eagles who was invited to US President Bill Clinton’s inauguration. Which means that the president saw the importance of the contribution John Walsh made to the music industry and American culture. Walsh was married five times. He owns an amateur radio station. Walsh continues to work on his music career and performs live.
