  • Logan Wade Lerman was born on 19 January 1992 in Beverly Hills, California. Logan wanted to become an actor since he was just five years old. When the boy turned eight, he debuted on the big screen by playing the main character’s son in the drama The Patriot. The movie earned three Academy Awards nominations. As part of the lineup, the young actor was nominated for his first Young Artist Award. He also got a priceless chance to work alongside Mel Gibson. The same year he appeared in the comedy What Women Want. He portrayed the young Nick Marshall. In 2001, Logan appeared in the biographical film Riding in Cars with Boys about Beverly Ann Donofrio, a writer with a tough life story. Logan played Bev’s son Jason. For the role in the movie A Painted House (2003), based on the novel by John Grisham, Lerman earned his first Young Artist Award as "Best Performance in a TV Movie, Miniseries or Special - Leading Young Actor". In 2004, Logan landed the first breakthrough role in the thriller The Butterfly Effect, in which he played the main character when he was 7 years old. After the movie was released, Lerman experienced all the benefits of fame. Many organizers were hoping to book Logan Lerman’s presence at their events.

    In 2004 and 2005, Logan worked on the drama series Jack & Bobby. The project brought him another Young Artist Award in the same category as in 2003. In 2006, Lerman landed a leading role in the comedy Hoot, which brought him another Young Artist Award for "Best Leading Young Actor in a Feature Film". In 2007, Logan appeared in three movies. In the western 3:10 to Yuma, he worked alongside Russel Crowe. The movie was nominated for two Academy Awards and two Saturn Awards. Again, Lerman was nominated for Young Artist Award in the same category as in 2006.

  • The real breakthrough in the actor’s career was the leading part in the 2010 movie Percy Jackson & the Olympians: The Lightning Thief. Lerman played the Poseidon’s son with super powers. He was nominated for a variety of awards. In 2013, he appeared in the second part of the series called Percy Jackson: Sea of Monsters. The movie was also successful. In 2011, Lerman landed the role of D’Artagnan in the movie The Three Musketeers. The part brought the young actor another Teen Choice Award nomination. This time it was for "Choice Movie Actor: Action".

     In 2012, Lerman was approved for the leading part in the drama The Perks of Being a Wallflower. The movie earned several awards and Logan finally scored the prize for "Choice Movie Actor: Drama" at Teen Choice Awards. In the war drama Fury (2014), Lerman played Private Norman Ellison. The movie earned great reviews from the critics and the cast received a variety of awards and nominations. In 2016 and 2017, Logan landed leading roles in the movies Indignation and The Vanishing of Sidney Hall. He also tried his skills as an executive producer and was successful. In 2018, Logan is working on the drama End of Sentence.
