Blasterjaxx is a Dutch DJ duo comprising Thom Jongkind and Idir Makhlaf. They gained recognition in the electronic dance music scene for their signature big room house style. The duo has gained a loyal fan base across the globe for their electrifying performances and hit songs.

Thom Jongkind and Idir Makhlaf, both grew up in the Netherlands and started their music career individually as DJs. Thom Jongkind, who goes by the stage name "Thomaz," began his career in 2005 while Idir Makhlaf, who goes by the stage name "Jordy Lishious," started his career in 2010. The two artists met and decided to collaborate in 2010, and that's how Blasterjaxx, as a DJ duo, was born.

Their first successful release was "Miami" remix in 2013, which quickly gained recognition in the EDM world. They further cemented their position in the industry with another hit song "Faith" which was released later that year. The duo’s singles were consistently placed in the top 10 charts on Beatport, one of the most prominent online reliable EDM music stores in the world.

In 2014, Blasterjaxx was nominated in the 'Best Breakthrough DJ' category in the DJ Awards. The following year, they were included in the top 100 Best DJ list by DJ magazine. Throughout the years, they have showcased their talents in some of the biggest music festivals in the world, such as Tomorrowland, Ultra Music Festival, and EDC.

Apart from their music career, Blasterjaxx has also started their record label, 'Maxximize Records,' which promotes new and upcoming artists, along with the release of their own music.

Some of the most popular songs by Blasterjaxx include “Bizarre” featuring UHRE, "Savage," "Faith," and "Black Rose." The duo has also collaborated with popular artists like Hardwell, David Guetta, and Afrojack.
