SARA LANDRY

Sara Landry is an American DJ, producer, and audio engineer renowned for her dark, driving, and industrial techno sound. Born on September 22, 1993, in the San Francisco Bay Area, California, she moved to Boulder, Colorado, at age three, and later to Austin, Texas, following her parents' divorce. At seventeen, she relocated to New York City for her studies, where she began her DJ career while working as a promoter. After completing her studies, Landry returned to Austin, performing at venues such as Kingdom, Plush, Parish, and Vulcan Gas Company. She held a Saturday residency at Ethics Music Lounge, where she assisted with booking and played for a year before the venue's sudden closure. In 2018, she released her debut single, "Chasm," and in 2019, she signed with mau5trap, releasing her first multi-track techno EP, "Wait," on May 17, 2019. 

In 2022, Landry relocated to Amsterdam, Netherlands, collaborating with Don Woezik on the techno album "Delirium." Her profile grew significantly in 2023, with her Boiler Room debut becoming the third most-streamed set of the year, amassing over 6 million views. By 2024, she was recognized as one of the leading figures in hard techno, becoming the first artist in the genre to perform on the Tomorrowland main stage and selling out venues worldwide, including a 9,000-capacity show in Bogotá and The Caverns in Tennessee, where she became the first techno artist to perform at the subterranean venue. 

Landry is a self-taught producer and audio engineer, often referred to as the "High Priestess of Hard Techno." Her music combines high-frequency industrial sounds with ritualistic elements, earning her recognition as Beatport's top-selling female producer in the genre. In 2021, she founded Hekate Records, named after the Greek goddess of witchcraft, releasing music from established artists including Nico Moreno, Shlømo, Charlie Sparks, and blk., alongside emerging talent in the techno scene. 

Landry has performed at major electronic music festivals and venues worldwide, including Tomorrowland (becoming the first techno artist on the main stage in 2024), Electric Daisy Carnival Las Vegas (circuitGROUNDS), Creamfields, Kappa Futur Festival, Coachella (Yuma tent), Red Rocks Amphitheatre, and Brooklyn Mirage.  Her discography includes the album "Spiritual Driveby" (2024, Hekate Records) and several EPs such as "Wait" (2019, Mau5trap), "Signal" (2019, PinkStar Black), "Sacrifice" (2020, Kraftek), "Act of God" (2020, The Outlaw Ocean LLC), "Queen of the Banshees" (2021, RAW), "Rebirth" (2021, Techno Germany Records), "Incoming" (2021, Hekate Records), "About Last Night" (2021, Possession), and "Delirium" with Don Woezik (2022, Hekate Records). Sara Landry's authenticity, consistency, work ethic, and palpable passion for techno have garnered her a considerable following.
