The DJ duo Eli & Fur was formed in 2012, in London. It consists of Eliza Noble and Jennifer Skillman. The girls have been working together since they were teenagers; however, the fame came to them only in 2013.
Once Eliza and Jennifer appeared on the DJ scene in 2013, they started to work hard on perfecting their sound. Thanks to the seductive voices that have conquered the night clubs and radio stations in London, the duo managed to become rather famous in both the UK and the USA. Throughout their short career, the girls managed to work with such famous artists as Maceo Plex, Hot Since 82, Kölsch, and Seth Troxler. They also worked as opening acts and became part of the lineups of such artist as Ants, Vagabundos, and Bugged Out. They appeared on Leeds Festival, Bestival, and Creamfields, as well as Glastonbury.
When the duo released the debut track, even the gurus of the music industry realized that they are dealing with something big. The single “You’re so High” reached the 3rd spot on Hype Machine and was played over 3 million times.
The next song “Seeing is Believing: was recorded together with Shadow Child on Defected label. The girls signed a contract with Beatport and worked on their new streaming platform. In 2015, Eli & Fur released the EP “California Love”. It helped them receive recognition in the USA and allowed them to give their first performance at Coachella 2016.
2015 was a busy year for Eli & Fur. They were called Artists to Watch by Beatport and were nominated for a variety of awards, including DJ and Bass Music awards. The DJ Magazine called the band “Best Breakthrough Artist”. The duo worked closely with Pete Tong and made a plan for a variety of releases for years to come. The same year, the girls went on a Thelma & Louse tour in North America. They took an unusual approach to the tour, performing on radio stations, TV, clubs and even boats.
Today, Eli & Fur continue on their way to becoming the most famous female DJs in the world. They write new songs and perform live.
