  • Sabrina Carpenter – American singer, actress, and songwriter was born on 11 May 1999 in Lehigh Valley, Pennsylvania. Carpenter liked singing since childhood and dreamed about becoming famous. As a child, she was inspired by Christina Aguilera and Adele. Later, Sabrina often talked about them in her interviews. Carpenter has three older sisters, Sarah, Shannon, and Cayla. Her aunt is an actress Nancy Cartwright, who lent her voice to Bart Simpson in The Simpsons. Sabrina began her career when she was just 12 years old. She was invited to Miley Cyrus’ music project “The Next Miley Cyrus Project”. Sabrina came in third, which was a big success for a young singer.

Later, she tried her acting skills as a guest star on NBC’s Law & Order: Special Victims Unit. Carpenter successfully portrayed a rape victim. Later, she participated in Gold Mango Audience Festival. The young artist got high scores for her original interpretation of Etta James’ “Something’s Got A Hold On Me”. In 2012, Sabrina landed the role of Brittney in Noobz. In 2013, she appeared as a young Merrin in the horror movie, Horns. A little later, Carpenter portrayed young Chloe in The Goodwin Games. She also worked on the role of Harper in the TV film, The Unprofessional on Disney Channel. Between 2013 and 2015, the artist continued her career in Hollywood and on TV. She worked on such projects as Sofia the First Princess, Orange Is the New Black, Austin & Ally Lucy, Girl Meets World, and Radio Disney Family Holiday.

Even though Carpenter was very successful as an actress, her childhood wish to become a singer didn’t disappear. In 2015, she released her debut LP, Eyes Wide Open. To work on the album, the artist invited such musicians as Jerrod Bettis, Steven Solomon, Brian Malouf, Jim McGorman, Jon Ingoldsby, Matt Squire, Mitch Allan, Captain Cuts, Matthew Tishler, Jon Levine, Jordan Higgins, and John Gordon. The album featured such hits as "Eyes Wide Open", "The Middle of Starting Over", "Can't Blame a Girl for Trying", and "We'll Be the Stars". It reached the 43rd spot of Billboard 200 and climbed to the 14th position of Digital Albums Chart. For a 16-year-old singer, it was a big success. Within a week after the release, 12,000 copies of the album were sold.

In 2016, Sabrina recorded her second LP, Evolution. After the release, she embarked on the Evolution Tour. The LP climbed to the 28th spot of Billboard 200. It also appeared on the charts in Ireland, Australia, New Zealand, and Canada. The album featured such hits as "On Purpose", "Feels Like Loneliness", "All We Have Is Love", "Run and Hide", and "Thumbs.” The latter single brought Sabrina international popularity and went platinum in the USA. At that time, more and more fans tried hard to book Sabrina Carpenter for their events.

In 2017, the artist worked on her third album and a tour. She arranged The De-Tour and worked with Ariana Grande on her Dangerous Woman Tour. The Vamps invited Carpenter to attend their UK Arena Tour, and she agreed.
