Doja Cat is an American singer, rapper, and songwriter born on October 21, 1995, in Los Angeles, California. She began writing and recording music at the age of 16 and gained popularity in 2018 with her single “Mooo!” which went viral on social media platforms.

Growing up, Doja Cat was influenced by various genres of music from R&B to punk rock. She attended the Los Angeles County High School for the Arts, where she studied dance and sang in the choir.

In 2014, Doja Cat released her debut EP “Purrr!” which received positive reviews from critics. She later signed a record deal with RCA Records and released her debut studio album “Amala” in 2018.
