When talking about the group, the reputable producer said that The Menzingers have excellent potential because, unlike the majority of the beginners, they have all it takes for success, including mild aggression, good songs, and a real desire to perform.

In 2009, the band released an EP, consisting of four tracks. Hold On Dodge was recorded with the assistance of the label, Red Scare Industries. It became the artists’ first vinyl release. The bonus track "Kentucky Gentleman" appeared for the band’s fans in iTunes.

In 2010, The Menzingers released their second LP called Chamberlain Waits. After some time, many fans and magazines called it one of the best punk albums of the year. Absolutepunk.net, Punknews.org, and Exclaim.ca confirmed the title. The album was commercially successful. The musicians got an invitation to appear on the cover of AMP Magazine. Many organizers tried to book The Menzingers for private events at the time.

  • In the spring of 2011, the musicians signed a contract with Epitaph Records. The founder of the label, Brett Gurewitz, a guitar player from Bad Religion, noted that The Menzingers are true punk rockers similar to those, whose songs Gurewitz loved since childhood. He noted that it was an honor to work with such a group

The same year, at a concert at Bowery Ballroom, Bernett announced the band’s plans for the next album. The LP, Rented World, was released in the spring of 2014. The artists filmed a music video for one of the singles, “In Remission”. It collected over a million views on YouTube. The album’s producer was Jonathan Low, famous for his work with many different rock groups.

In 2014 and 2015, the band was touring Europe, North America, and Australia. The musicians performed with such celebrities as The Smith Street Band, Off With Their Heads, Lemuria, Chumped, Taking Back Sunday, mewithoutYou, and Pianos Become the Teeth.

In February 2017, The Menzingers presented the 5th LP, After The Party, released with the assistance of Epitaph Records. To support the new album, the artists embarked on a tour of the USA with Jeff Rosenstock and other bands. Even though After The Party wasn’t as commercially successful as expected, it reached the 67th spot of Billboard 200 and earned numerous positive reviews from the critics.

In 2018, the artists recorded new singles, "Toy Soldier" and "The Freaks", which became successful. At the beginning of 2019, on the official Instagram account, Barnett reported working on a new album, the release date and name of which are still unknown.
