Rina Sawayama

Rina Sawayama is a Japanese-British singer, songwriter, model, and actress. She was born on August 16th, 1990 in Niigata, Japan, and grew up in London, England. Rina credits her multicultural background and upbringing as the driving force behind her unique musical style and perspective. Rina’s passion for music began at a young age, taking piano lessons and performing in musicals throughout her childhood. She later attended the University of Cambridge, where she studied politics and sociology, before pursuing a career in music.
